International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) General Meeting 2024 is a five-day event taking place from 21–25 October 2024 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
This prestigious event will gather 1,500 global experts, including national officials, who will discuss best practices and future planning under the theme ‘Towards an all-electric and connected society’.
The conference is structured to include a series of meetings, showcase days and an exhibition running throughout the week; providing multiple opportunities for engagement and networking.
The UKAS External Affairs Team will be exhibiting at the event, so this is your opportunity to meet Richard Collin and his team to learn more about how UKAS engages with a variety of stakeholders to help facilitate connections for a better world.
UKAS Chief Executive Officer, Matt Gantley, is sitting on two panels. The first one will be held on Tuesday 22 October 2024 and discuss ‘AI Economy – Start-Ups, Supply Chains and Upskilling’ and the second, on Thursday 24 October, will talk about ‘Building the Infrastructure of Change’.
