The Association of Neurophysiological Scientists (ANS) & the British Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (BSCN) have released an official joint position statement regarding IQIPS accreditation for Neurophysiology services. The statement reinforces their strong endorsement of UKAS accreditation and encourages all Neurophysiology services to begin their journey to accreditation. It also includes the range of benefits delivered as a result of accreditation to motivate services to engage with accreditation such as improved patient care, demonstration of commitment to continual quality improvement and reduction of regulatory inspection activities.
