Book now Enquire

This practical blended course (1 day classroom and approx 1 day coursework) provides learners with existing ISO 15189 experience with the awareness to develop their organisational processes in line with the requirements of point-of-care testing as part of the latest ISO 15189:2022 standard (including Annex A).

This course focuses on the organisational outline and how a point-of-care testing service can be designed to support the demonstration of conformance and competence to the latest ISO 15189 standard.

This blended course is split into three sections:

  • Part One – Self-directed eLearning module (mandatory completion required prior to access to trainer-led sessions), taking approximately three hours to complete
  • Part Two – One-day trainer-led face-to-face/virtual workshop
  • Part Three – Self-directed eLearning module including a post-course effectiveness check and further reflections to consolidate your learning, taking approximately three hours to complete. This module is not mandatory but is recommended, as it further expands on other requirements not covered in detail during the trainer-led session.

Please ensure you read the minimum requirements for this course before booking to attend.

Note: This course does not include the full Standard requirements of ISO 15189:2022. If you require an in-depth understanding of the full standard, please see the ISO 15189 Awareness training here.

The trainer was a great facilitator and was very helpful.

Gemma Purcell - Learner

Although there was a huge amount of information given, and it was a lot to take in, I found the course very helpful, and the group exercises were an excellent tool to discuss issues, plans etc. The trainers were also very helpful and willing to engage with our concerns.

Marie Walker - Learner

My main highlights were understanding gaps in our POCT service, what the next steps should be in out accreditation journey, and learning from others.

"The trainers were both really inciteful and informative. The whole course was really useful.
